Now at Power 99.3fm Big Ron aka RONGOWORKS.....straight out of Brownsville Brooklyn started his humble beginnings in NYC as a Bouncer for the then NYC Hottest Night Club "Bentley's" as well as doing private security for Music & Sports Celebrity's.

He always dabbled in music from working with WBLS Radio Personalities Dr Bob Lee, Yo Sunny Joe to name a few and DJ'ing on NY University Radio The Candy Store Spinning the Hottest Chicago & NYC House Music with his DJ Partner Chris Forde then called DJ's Big & Small they started the show and left to do bigger and better things Big Ron went on to Hip-Hop & R&B Music and Publishing and Chris Forde went on to become Brooklyn Biggest Comedy Night Club Promoter.

In 1990 Big Ron bumped into his old College Buddy and Music Mentor David Anthony and that's all she wrote he was hooked and stayed in the Business he knew from then that this was his passion. While working with David Anthony he pursued other ventures from Casting fine Video Vixens in music videos i.e Wyclef Jean "The Cranival", Rahkim "Guess who's Back"Jay-Z "Who Ya Wit", Jaz-Z "wishing On a Star", Christion "Bring Back Your Love", Day to Day" U Represent", EPMD "Da Joint", Voices of Theory "Say It", Eric Sermon-Keith Murray-RedMan "Rapper Delight", Veronica "Rise" Aalliyah "Hot Like Fire", Camplo, "Black Nostaljack", Organized Confusion"Somehow Someday", Quad City DJ's Space Jam" Let's Do It" to name a few and Rock Music Videos like David Bowie, Nine Inch Nails, Terrance Trent to casting everyday people in commercials for MTV, Panasonic, Caldors, MCI, 1-800 Collect and many more.

Big Ron wanted more and took a hands on approach and worked with different producers and started creating tracks for them until he was stopped dead in his tracks when he produced a track, the track was stolen and became a big Hit in Europe..He learned his lesson and studied and worked hard with several Music Business Executive who showed him the ropes and taught him all he needed to know about the music business. Then shortly after became a Manger for a R&B Girl Group Managed several top producers, songwriters and DJ's. Eventually worked at three Majors East-West Music, Universal Records and moved on to Publishing at BMG.

While being a publisher for BMG he received many opportunities to meet with a number of Top Name Execs and A&R's like Bruce Carbone, Sal Guastella, Bro. Don Mohummad, Kawan Prather, Lenny Nicholson to name a few who also showed him the ropes and what the industry needs and wants as well as rubbing shoulders with many Hip-Hop and R&B Recording Artists at Record Labels Events and Industry Parties....In 2007-2008 He is in the process of securing his own Independent Label Deal with Major Distribution and creating Production Deals, Record Deals & Publishing Deals.....for "Golden Boi Productionz" based in Atlanta, Production Team "The Prosecutors" based out of NYC and also Rap Groups "Zoe Pound" and "BSU"
